Founded in 1977, Helsinki’s Galerie Forsblom focuses on established and emerging artists, both Finnish
and international. Forsblom’s mission is twofold: to bring interesting not-before-seen art to Finland, and also
to place Finnish art in the larger context of the international scene. While 2014’s Dallas Art Fair marks the
gallery’s first foray into Texas, Forsblom maintains a high profile on the art fair circuit, exhibiting annually at
seven to 10 fairs all over the world. Galerie Forsblom’s roster is diverse and inclusive, embracing work from
expressionist to minimalist, cutting-edge painting to more traditional sculpture, and everything in between.
Of the seven artists it’s showing, don’t miss the sculpture of renowned American artist Joel Shapiro, Bernar
Venet’s 3-D conundrum One Indeterminate Line, New York painter Peter Halley’s geometric acrylic works, and
Brit Jason Martin’s shimmering monochromatic oils on aluminum. galerieforsblom.com
