Opening Sept. 10, Permanence/Impermanence is
a curated collection of works that challenge
our expectations of what is constant and
what is mutable. The gallery reception will
be held Sept. 10, featuring a gallery talk.
The exhibit continues through Nov. 17.

In The Waiting Room, various ceramic works
by Carol Cook explore her time working as
an occupational therapist, and in Where We
Prayed, Miles Cleveland Goodwin’s works
reflect on his life in coastal Mississippi.
Through Aug. 15. Desert Tempo Recollections,
paintings by Jim Woodson, and Almanac,
an exhibition of wood sculpture by David
Everett, open Aug. 29 and are on view
through Oct. 3. Sept. 19 brings A Texas
Collection: Dorothy and Mat Garland, showing

W.A.A.S. is committed to both artist and
buyer, providing a venue that offers artists
the freedom to create and display their
works as they see fit, and allowing buyers
to view pieces as they were intended. The
gallery also hosts a number of creative and
educational events throughout the year.
Resident artists include muralist Drew
Merritt, new-media artist Jonathan Ramirez,
Taylor Effin Cleveland, Edward Ruiz, and
installation artist Joshua King.

gallery specializes in traditional original
paintings and bronzes from America’s
most renowned artists. The display space
also includes an outside sculpture garden.
